Bierbaum PTO Field Trip Grants
To request a PTO grant for a field trip, please complete and submit the PTO Field Trip Information Form to the Principal for approval and submittal to the PTO. (form last updated 1/7/2007). |

Missouri Department of Conservation Field Trip Grants
The Missouri Department of Conservation accepts applications for their Conservation Field Trip Grants program on an ongoing basis usually starting in the Fall and going until early March, until all funds have been awarded. The program distributes up to $700 to public, private, parochial, or home-school educators for a field trip related to fish, wildlife and natural habitats. Missouri History Museum Trip Bussing Grants
Last year, the Missouri History Museum was able to refund bus money up to $200 for Bierbaum field trips to the museum through a grant program sponsored by the Energizer Charitable Trust, Des Lee, and United Way. Target Field Trip Grant Program
Target offers several thousand field trip grants nationwide to schools that apply for them. Each store is entitled to grant $700 to 3 schools. Beasley Elementary received a grant for the 2010-2011 school year.
Target will accepts applications starting August 1, 2011 for this program from now through Sept. 30, 2011 only, as part of Target's commitment to education. Find out all about it at their web site. | |

Mehlville/Oakville District Foundation Grants for Teachers
The Mehlville/Oakville District Foundation offers mini-grants to district teaching staff once each semester for special projects. Staff must submit proposals with their ideas to the foundation, and a selection committee will judge the ideas and determine who gets grants for their programs. For more information, contact Sue Roesch (467-5007) in district administration.

Don't Forget Your PTO - You Put the "T" in PTO!
The PTO offers classroom startup funding each Fall, but our support for you doesn't stop there. The PTO is always willing to listen to your ideas on ways to improve Bierbaum. If you have a special request for the PTO to consider, please attend one of our monthly meetings, or mention your idea to Kristy or Scott to present at the next meeting. We meet in the library on the second Wednesday of each month during the school year, and would love to hear from you! All funding requests are discussed and voted on by the PTO board for approval..
