Thanks to all our wonderful volunteers that helped make the picnic a huge success. Even Mother Nature played a role and kept the rain away for the whole day.

The picnic is by far our largest event and takes lots of coordination and help from our wonderful parent volunteers. We couldn't have pulled it out without the help of room parents and other great parents that offerred their time before, during, and after the picnic.

Next Year's District Calendar Released
School Board Approves Dates for 2012-2013 School Year

The school board has approved the calendar for the 2012-2013 school year. The calendar is also available on the district web site, and in our calendar section. (requres Adobe Reader).

Soup's On at Bierbaum!
Campbell's Soup & Other Labels

Save those Campbell's Soup labels. We get credit for labels from several different Campbell's products, not just their soups. Check out all the eligible products here (requires Adobe Reader) and start sending in those labels! Look for a container up at school to submit your labels.

Monthly Scrip Program is Here!

The Great Lakes Scrip program allows you to buy prepaid debit and gift cards for hundreds of retailers at face value, while raising money for Bierbaum. There is no extra cost involved! Buy a $20 gift card for $20, and you'll still help out Bierbaum. Or get a $10 gas card for $10 and still help out Bierbaum.

Find out all about this monthly program on our Scrip Fundraising page. Orders received by the first Friday of each month will be delivered by the third Firday of the month.

Save Those Boxtops!
Look for the White Mailbox at School.

Don't forget to look for the Boxtops for Education Logo on your grocery items before you throw away those empty containers! Clip the symbols and submit them in the white mailbox in the cafeteria at school to help your kids & Bierbaum. Learn more about this ongoing program here.

Don't Throw Away Old Cell Phones
or Empty Printer Cartridges!
Recycle them through Bierbaum!

Before you throw out your old cell phones or empty printer cartridges (ink jet or laser), bring them to school and drop them in the collection box inside the main entrance. "5% Back to Schools" Program at Office Depot!

Here's another way to help Bierbaum while you shop with Office Depot's 5% Back to Schools program. This is not a PTO sponsored activity...all proceeds go directly to the school from Office Depot. All you have to do is ask them to credit 5% of your purchase to Bierbaum as you check out. In the metro area, they should have a book to look up the Bierbaum School ID, but outside the St. Louis area, you can still credit Bierbaum by knowing our School ID number shown to the right.

The Bierbaum PTO is made up of parent volunteers who work together for the betterment of Bierbaum School and its students and staff. To that end, we have created this Web site, which includes a calendar of events for our organizations as well as other valuable information. Check back frequently for updates on what the PTO is doing on behalf of your children and your school!

This Web site is operated independently of the Mehlville School District or official school Web sites.
